Speeding Down the Hill

Speeding Down the Hill

He he, I love it – this little man is speeding down the hill on his bicycle, on his way to certain death, but he sees no reason why that should get in the way of a good read and a good cigar.

An excellent attitude to employ in everyday life and a timely reminder of how to live our lives, coming from our wall art.

Wall Art as Storage

Posted by rashmiart2 on July 18, 2008

No matter how many cupboards and drawers you have, there will never be enough room to store all of your ’stuff’. So make sure you take every opportunity to include more storage and this goes for your wall art choices too.

There are actually ranges of frames which come in a number of colours, patterns and styles, which frame shelf space. The frame frames (surprise!) shelves which you can use to store books, CDs or photos and makes your storage a work of art.

Hear Wall Art

Posted by rashmiart2 on May 28, 2008

Cascading with tremendous power, High Falls of the Dupont Forest in Western North Carolina is captured in one of a series of photographs by Susanne Leasure. I always love it when wall art speaks to more than one of my senses. Like when a painting of flowers makes me feel like I can almost smell the bouquet, or when a piece of photographic wall art makes me feel as though I can almost hear the rushing waterfall which is captured.

‘High Falls I’ puts you right in front of the gushing waterfall and you can almost feel the spray on your face and hear the water thundering in your ears. Don’t you just feel refreshed from looking at it?

Pretty?

Posted by rashmiart2 on May 13, 2008

Leasure has a talent for painting movement and mood and this hand painted oil art is no exception. The wide-angle landscape format accommodates this composition nicely. Even though the trees are not showing, their presence is made known by the reflections on the water’s surface. Expertly rendered whitewater compliments the relaxing effect of the gush of river water spilling over the boulders. Having captured the moment, Leasure put you there, in the scene. Enjoy the wonderful attention to detail in this wall art by clicking on “view in gallery” Just below the image. Once in the gallery, be sure to use the zooming feature so you can see every detail. Rocks are not something which you generally think of as pretty are they? People collect rocks, they put them in their garden or they glue eyes on them and sell them as pets(!) but they are often overlooked when considering a beautiful part of nature.

In ‘Cascading Water III’ the rocks in this stream are painted in soft pink colours with creams and yellows reflecting from the sunlight and they make a beautiful scene in this wall art painting.
